The Data Visualization MOCC started on Coursera on July 20 2015.
This course is part of the Data Mining Specialization of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
The course is taught by Prof. John C. Hart and it is not centred on programming, although this is not discouraged. Several resources and references are presented throughout the course, from the very beginning, that make the course a worthwhile one.
This course (as the others which compose the specialization), is not given at regular intervals as it happens instead with other specializations in the Coursera platform, like Johns Hopkins’ Data Science specialization, which runs the courses basically every month. So it is a chance that passes once in a while and therefore one to take while it is there.
